It's kind of sad, actually.Caffeine Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10073716022646773106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3193069937305434031.post-72011251100482265442018-07-22T08:32:57.789-04:002018-07-22T08:32:57.789-04:00Our market, Leesburg, VA, has had some awesome pea...Our market, Leesburg, VA, has had some awesome peaches. Sure would be nice to have a yarn vendor! I love looking for the Osprey nest when we drive over to the beach. Not growing up in this area I was amazed at the size of the nests. I will have to see if I can put a bug in somebody's ear to try this out next year! And $7 a bunch for those flowers - what a deal!Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00133586584914884179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3193069937305434031.post-12482545779291008412018-07-22T01:09:24.582-04:002018-07-22T01:09:24.582-04:00 I love farmers markets. Yours looks like a wonder... I love farmers markets. Yours looks like a wonderful one. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a farmers market that had yarn! How fun is that?
When Mandy lived in Edgewater she used to go down to the Chesapeake Bay a few blocks from their house and look at the ospreys every spring and summer. Piper loved to watch them grow up and fly away. I think that’s one of the things she misses about Maryland.
You commented on my blog post about thinking it’s cooler out here. Most people tend to think that because all they see of Seattle is rain. I read recently that New York City receives more annual rainfall than Seattle! I think it’s because Seattle has many drizzly days. However, we are on the other side of the Cascade Mountains, on the far eastern border of Washington state. We are considered high desert. We definitely have all four seasons. It is supposed to be 100° by the end of this week. In the winter it isn’t unusual to have below zero temperatures. So we definitely have huge temperature swings here. Have a wonderful day Debra.
Blessings,
BetsyBetsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00807691752817225336noreply@blogger.com
