TdF: Week One

We has some sunshine this weekend so I took the fiber outside for some photos. The Streets of Laredo is done. It's been soaked and thwacked. It's not very soft so it's going to be some boot socks when I find a partner for it since it's not enough for a whole pair by itself.

I've already spun one bobbin of the fiber I just dyed and one of the California Red I've been working on since last year's Tour.

The pretty Polwarth I just started a few days ago is getting lots of love.

The poor spindles are not getting much attention this year I'm afraid. Pandemic life has taken on it's own rhythm and the Tour doesn't factor in very well.  Nothing to do all day, nowhere really to go but I can't seem to get anything done. Go figure.

  1. Those spools are chock full of loviness. I'm sorry the tour has been a disappointmet this year because I know how much you look forward to it.
Dennis has misplaced his winter hat and we're thinking it may be neeed on the drive to Nebt. next week.

  7. Your spinning is gorgeous!
I don't know how you are dealing with having to throw out your lovely art journals! That would just kill me. We have to be careful not to leave any cats in my craft areas at night. I'm sure they'd do the same thing!
