I'm not kidding when I say it takes me until Sunday to feel like myself again after our two day baby sitting adventure. We're off to do some sitting again today. All that really cuts into my stitching time but I did manage to finish all the white background on this last row.
On Sunday I sat down for the first time all week at my sewing table and worked on Dear Jane, some Patchwork crosses and a bit of needlepoint. A good listen helps. I had a Dateline podcast and the end of the latest Stephen King audiobook to keep me going. There's nothing like a good murder to keep you glued to your seat.
The sampler is just gorgeous. I love it. I watch a lot of YouTube while knitting and crocheting. It keeps me entertained.

Well, I guess we both know why we have kids in our younger years! It does take a lot out of you. I can't wait to see your needlepoint piece finished - I really like it.
ReplyDeleteThose sunny flowers and Stephen King hardly go together, but whatever keeps you stitching!
ReplyDeleteSteve is reading that King book right now.
ReplyDeleteI laughed at the 'lag' babysitting gives you--I totally agree! Have a good time!
ReplyDeleteI love listening to murder while I stitch!
ReplyDeleteYour colors always cheer me up!
