In the package 57 Pumpkin sent last week were these punch needle things which included the lap stand. I've really been struggling with the whole concept but on one boring rainy afternoon I decided to give this one a try. It's not like mine. My kit uses a big needle and thick wool on monk's cloth. This one has a fine needle. It's printed on even weave and you use embroidery floss. The printed pattern is always on the wrong side in case you're wondering why it looks so bad.
I'm surprised that these aren't sold everywhere! I may have to pick up a few for myself for when I'm feeling particularly stabby.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a good idea to take your stabby feelings out on the cloth and end up with something beautiful instead! Pretty work!
ReplyDeleteI love that you work on the wrong side, and can't see the right while you're working! It's like a wonderful little surprise!
ReplyDeleteNot only do I like the new project, you made me laugh first thing this morning. I've never tried punch needle but it does look like fun. The Mister better watch his step.

Betsy
They look very good. If I did that while aggravated I'm guessing the loops would be pretty wild and wooly.
ReplyDeleteWe should all pencil in stabbing time.
