Count Me Out

I've started on the Lofoten's yoke and it's a doozy. It's like doing a cross stitch pattern. It's all count, count, count and then go back and count again. I'm not hating it but it's going to take a lot patience and a lot of time to get it done.

The Hawthorne reel socks are at the heel. It's been slow going because......

.....I had the urge to start these. I had the ball laying out where I could see it and it kept calling to me.

The latest Pimpeliesse is this big now. I am not even halfway there and the ball is looking mighty small. As long as I start decreasing at the halfway weight I should be fine. I just have to remember to keep weighing it.

  1. Oooooh, that Pimpeliesse is gorgeous. I love that yarn color. So pretty.
Lofoten looks so difficult to me. It's pretty but I would never be brave enough to knit it. And of course you have socks going. Who doesn't? Well, er um, me I guess. I actually don't have a thing in progress in my sock knitting bag. I need to make mittens after I finish the baby blanket I'm working on.
    Blessings,

  2. That Opal yarn is such a happy color. I love how the colors are working up and at the end, you'll really have a good pair of hard wearing socks.

  4. The socks are fantastic! no wonder you couldn't wait to get to the new one! I know about the counting but there is no hurry...just keep checking yourself so you don't have to rip out! The shawl is a tense game---I failed/lost twice and moved back to socks! lol

  8. Everything looks wonderful, I can't even seem to be able to count to five on a regular basis so that sweater pattern is off limits for me. Stay safe.
