Painting Day

We had a very small window of opportunity yesterday. When I got up it was warm out. Open the windows warm.

I told The Mister it was now or never. The weather for the rest of the week is going to be back to cold. By 1:00 our warm weather had already turned cold but I had a painted bathroom. By 2:00 it was raining and very windy. I really hate all this wind.

There was paint drama. A few weeks ago I sent The Mister out to get me a bucket of white paint. He came back with a giant paint sample book that he had to put a $40 deposit on. It seems you can't just buy white paint anymore. There were hundreds of whites to choose from. I worked myself up into a bit of a tizzy trying to decide.

All that drama for a white bathroom. Now we can start hooking the plumbing back up. It's going to be so nice to not have to run all the way down to that cold bathroom in the middle of the night for a wee. I can't wait.

  1. Your sunny bay window is BEAUTIFUL!!!

Yes .... that bit of sunny spring did not last very long. Glad you were able to fit your painting into that time-slot.

  4. One step closer. . .

I'm eager to open the windows and doors to allow fresh air into the house, but it's still too chilly for that. The wind has been howling here too, and my allergies have been giving me fits.

  6. Yay! You’re getting closer! I can understand wanting to be close to your bathroom in the middle of the night. Love the bay window with all of the pretty greenery outside. We have dark and rain, rain, rain. It’s supposed to rain for the next week. But then again, April showers bring May flowers and all...
    Blessings, Betsy
