Preliminary

This week is our Theatre on Ice camp and we are using it to get a head start on next year's production number by trying out some ideas while we have a herd of the kids and lots of ice time.

For weeks, my house has once again been turned into a crazy workshop. Not only do I have a giant yellow submarine in the living room, I've been making fish eyes in the dining room.

These are not our real costumes but we have to perform twice during the camp week so we have to put the kids in something. Old tee shirts, knit hats, bits of tulle and felt scraps make something fish like. Right?

Hoodies are being turned into sharks.

Speaking of sharks.....I'm going to find out today if I can skate in this. This should be good.

In the kitchen, the umbrellas left over from our Rain number two years ago are being turned into flowers for the octopus's garden. I've had my Beatles Pandora station working overtime. Good times!
