Spinning a Good Yarn

I was in the library the other day when I saw this. It's hilarious.

My own interest in knitting made a resurgence when I bought this kid's book for Daughter many years ago when she was beginning to read. I still use the pattern that comes with it.

When I did a Google search for the first book, I was surprised to find so many books with knitting themes.

Apparently people aren't just writing pattern books anymore.

I suppose this generation of adult knitters want to make sure the craft is passed on.

I think I need to own this.

 And this.

And this.

The one thing I miss about being a teacher is having an excuse to buy children's books.

I do have a grandson and he may just get this book from me someday.

And maybe this one, too.

  1. I recognize a few of these! My daughter always brings a story about wool or yarn for me to read to her kids! Love it!
